How Certified Data Destruction Works
Any data-bearing device we collect goes through certified destruction before recycling — not a software wipe that could theoretically be reversed, but physical destruction of the storage media itself, logged and certified.
- Physical destruction of storage media, not a reversible software wipe
- A serialized certificate of destruction is issued per asset or per batch — tied to the specific devices, not a generic statement
- Chain-of-custody tracking follows the device from collection to destruction, so nothing sits unaccounted for in between
- Available as a standalone request for a specific device, or bundled into any collection
- Certificates are retrievable anytime via Track & Trace
If a recycler can’t produce a serialized certificate tied to your specific devices, you have no proof your data was actually destroyed.
