How to Prepare Your Devices for Pickup
Individual pickup is free across Klang Valley and doesn’t require paperwork on your end, but a few minutes of prep makes collection faster and safer for your data.
- Back up anything you want to keep — devices are collected for certified destruction, not returned
- Sign out of accounts and remove SIM/memory cards where possible, even though certified destruction handles the data either way
- Group devices together so our team can confirm categories and count at the door
- Have the device ready at the scheduled time — pickups are confirmed in advance, not unannounced drop-ins
- Instant DuitNow payment is made at the point of collection for eligible personal devices
You don’t need to do anything complicated — just have your devices ready and your bank details on hand for DuitNow.
